Details:
Tonight I started my 3rd week of this 5th trip to Northern Lapland in Finland. After struggling a bit to find some clear skies, I could witness the most breathtaking auroras that I have ever seen up here in Lapland! Despite that there had been no forecast announcing strong activity, the auroras were dancing high in the sky, they were also very bright and very fast. Coronas appeared several times. I went back home only after seeing some glow on the Eastern sky, a sign that daylight will soon take over. What a night!!
