Details:
On March 7th parts of North Carolina were caught up in an ice storm. Even though there were trees down and power outages causing creature discomfort, leave it to an amateur astronomer to look for the silver lining. Eclipsing the moon behind a tree branch. I was able to illuminate the tree branches and capture Orion over head. I used a Canon 50D with 18-55 lens. The exposer was 10 seconds at ISO 2000.
