Details:
This tower, at 1600 ft. (488 meters), is among the tallest man-made structures. The tower is eight miles west of the observing/imaging site.
Twice a year, before the vernal equinox and autumnal equinox, the sun sets over the tower.
Yesterday the sun set just below the top of the tower.
