Details:
Another great night in Abisko! We have seen auroras nearly every night for a week now but it seems like as we get closer to spring and to the end of the aurora season the lights are kicking into high gear. Tonight our group of ten guests enjoyed a brilliant display that started as a large green arc high in the sky and slowly developed into a fast moving curtain of light. At one point a thick layer of clouds rolled in but the auroras were so bright that they could be seen through the haze. Our fingers are crossed for even brighter auroras as we approach the spring equinox. Shot with a Nikon D800, 24mm f1.4 lens and various exposures.
