Taken by Volker Strecke on February 28, 2014 @ Auroa Afterglow seen from an airplane On my flight Lufthansa LH459 from San Francisco to Munich in the night from 28. February to 1. March 2014 I had the luck to see these polar lights from the window of the Airbus 340. It was not quiete easy to remove the reflections from the cabin lights. So I had to cover the camera and the window with my coat. Technical Data: Camera: Nikon D3100, Sensitivity: 3200 ASA, Lens Opening: 5.6 , Exposure Time: 6 Seconds.
