My first time ever seeing the Northern lights! Initial aurora was bright to the naked eye with large red spikes, however mostly under cloud... cloud moved away to reveal some lovely clear sky, which highlighted the display for a good two hours.

Great shots Stuart. Good to see that the lights were visible from Glasgow. Shame about the light pollution that is Glasgow otherwise.
