Details:
This shot was taken just after Canada won the hockey gold at the Olympics (I have my priorities!). There are some hot spots around AR1982 and a little eruptive prominence on the eastern limb.
Solarmax 60II f/6.6, Canon XTi ISO 800, surface 1/800 sec. prominences 1/250 sec. East and West are reversed.
The surface and prominence shots are 5 layer stacks. Treated with Lynkeos' Lucy-Richardson algorithm and Photoshop for stacking, montage and colour.
