A very cloudy day, I was lucky to get a sucker hole to allow the imaging of the first and second contact of Saturn, but it clouded over again and missed seeing the reappearance. In Australia we have another two chances of getting this this year. Imaged with a DMK51 and a ED80 from the Doghouse Observatory.

The Moon is nice but Saturn all but visible !
I suggest opening the JPG file into RegiStax6, goto Functions/Gamma/ and load this glued in a text file then renamed .rgs; Continue with Do all.
The result is interesting !

An occultation of Saturn is not a all a commun event !
Then I reprocessed Davids picture with Registax6 using a mixed of gamma and mask dividing the image into two parts. I put them back together in PSP. The result is here for those interested ...
