Aurora
Taken by Warren Gammel on February 19, 2014 @ The best light show I've seen so far this winter, it kind of took me by surprise. Even with the nearly full moon the auroras were bright enough that they didn't get all washed out by the extra light. KP went up to 6.7, not a super storm but at least we had clear skies and could actually see them for a change. There were lots of red pillars and they were also pulsating at one point which was really cool, as you don't see that very often. Photos from on top of the County Road 5 hill in Becker. 11mm at f/2.8, ISO 800, 8 to 10 second exposures with Tungsten white balance setting.
