Details:
A Fujifilm Finepix S8200 Bridge camera, fitted with a Baader solar filter, was set to ISO 100, f/6.5 at 1/1200s exposure and mounted on a Merlin, auto-tracking mount. The camera was set to its maximum of 40x zoom. Five sets of 10 images were captured in rapid succession in burst mode. The 46 best images were stacked in Registax 6 to produce the final image, which was then colourised.
