Hello friends, Very Cold weather is predicted here in Jadwin, Missouri. As night fell it was necessary to check many things preparing for the cold. Well houses, our guest house, outdoor wood furnace, and of course the animals. Sometimes as I do these chores the sky holds a surprise. Tonight the Moon shone some five degrees from mighty Jupiter. As the pair competed for attention a beautiful halo began to develop around them. I ran from the barn as one of our beagles seemed to ask, "Hey what about me? I want to come in and snuggle on the couch!" "Hang on" I called over my shoulder, I needed to try and make a picture before the sight vanished. Ducking into my studio I ran back outside with camera and tripod in hand. Rushing as fast as I could I set up on the snow to capture a few images, this one, I suppose, is the best, and that I wish to share with you. Best, Victor C. Rogus Jadwin, MO
