http://miketaylorphoto.com The late Winter Milky Way arcs across the sky accompanied by Venus reflecting in the Atlantic Ocean just as the twilight sunrise hour is beginning at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse in Bristol, Maine. The structure on the right side is the old bell tower. The small light on the horizon under Venus is the lighthouse on Monhegan Island which is 12 miles off the coast. This image is a 7 photograph panorama taken in portrait orientation. Stitched in PTGui and processed through Lightroom 5 & Photoshop CS5. Nikon D600 & 14-24mm @ 20mm f/2.8 – 7x30 secs – ISO 3200 – WB Kelvin 3570 02/08/14 – 5:20 AM
