Colour spectrum of SN2014J taken with SA100 Celestron 9 + SXVR-H9C. Showing Si II absorption line in SNe and H alpha emission from galaxy core. This is a hot object and should have more blue in it. Blue end of spectrum has been scattered by dust in M82,making it appear redder.
