Details:
Today is the 3rd day of lunisolar calendar, so this moon is the 3rd-day crescent moon, Mikadzuki in Japanese (Mika (Mikka) means the 3rd day, and dzuki (tsuki) means moon). Traditionally in Japan, they believed that there lived a rabbit on the moon, which can be found on the lunar surface upside down in this photo. The rabbit legend is common to Chinese Chang-e legend. And the Chinese lunar rover Yutu, namely Jade Rabbit, is also derived from the legend. (I hope that the rover Yutu survive till the next daytime on the moon.) Nikon COOLPIX P510 digital camera (no telescope); ISO 400, F5.9, 4s exposure, f=2000mm for moon with earthshine ISO 100, F5.9, 1/5s exposure, f=2000mm for crescent
