Details:
We were on our daily Northern Lights chase going from Tromsø, Norway all the way to Sweden, due to severe cloud cover that night. Between Finnish Kilpisjärvi and Swedish Karesuando the -31°C cold air filled with ice crystals. We looked out for Northern Lights and light pillars and saw that our car produced its own light pillar. Even better, we could see the Northern Lights, although hiding behind a thin layer of clouds. It was a special moment to see both light phenomenons at the same time. On the way back from Sweden to Tromsø we were treated with a fabulous Aurora show dancing above our heads, making the night perfect and us forget the cold.
