Caught my first supernova! It is in the star on the right hand side of the M82 galaxy, I believe. Thanks to Spaceweather, I was notified of this event and via SkyTools Chart was able to locate the position in the night sky tonight!

Just as I was ending these shots a brilliant fireball crossed the sky to the left of Orion! It was huge, bright and long! Halfway across its path it dimmed then flared brilliant again! Easily as bright as Jupiter was!
Also you will notice a fuzzy blue patch to the left of the lower right galaxy (M81). It appears to be a comet. Any ideas?
