The reports I have read suggest the meteor was visible for no more than 20-25 seconds. If this object was not moving very fast and was visible for more than a minute then the likelihood of it being a meteor is non-existent. It has the usual appearance of a contrail, possibly a 4 engine aircraft. Also, what was the time of the other meteor sightings, I do not remember.

confirmed reports indicate time of 5:20 pm est, and a trajectory of south to north. This object is clearly heading in a westerly direction. See reports at
