Tycho is a prominent sight on the lunar surface and is well known and identifiable by its ejecta rays that span for kilometers across the surface. The crater is about 85 kilometers across and about 4.7 kilometers deep. It is estimated to be about 108 million years old. The crater is named after the Danish Astronomer Tycho Brahe. Equipment: 8 inch Dobsonian Reflector, 2x Barlow, 7.5 mm Plossl with iPhone camera.
