Sundogs
Taken by Rhonda Konicki on January 11, 2014 @ We get a lot of sun dogs here in the Arctic. Sometimes they are quite spectacular or just plain cool! In this image, looking south towards Fairbanks Alaska, with the down town temp at -35F, and ice fog building up in the valley, the mid-day sun is actually left of this frame, but the ice fog, to the east of the PowerPlant, is reflecting the light almost as bright as a mini sun! Camera Sony Alpha lens zoom 200mm aperture f/16 iso 400
