Details:
The images show the International Space Station ISS with just behind it the commercial Orbital-1 Cygnus cargoship. They were taken from the center of Leiden, Holland.
This was a low pass (max. 28 degrees elevation) in the early morning, 5 hours before docking.
The Cygnus cargoship was too faint to be seen by the naked eye for most of the pass, but around 5:57:05 UTC it briefly flared to mag +2 and the close duo ISS-Cygnus was suddenly and briefly well visible as a result. The image shows this moment.
The Cygnus was about 8 seconds in time behind the ISS. The duo was about 23 degrees above the horizon at that time.
Image taken with a Canon EOS 60D + EF 2.0/35mm lens at F2.2, 500 ISO, 6 seconds exposure. The 2nd image is a detail of the first.
