Details:
Another great night in Abisko! Tonight as our group of nine guests walked down to our teepee I noticed a small green band of auroras developing in the sky above Abisko National Park. As the auroras grew in intensity so did the speed that we walked. By the time we arrived we were all moving very quickly! After approximately 30 minutes the large band developed into a spiral and eventually exploded into an inferno that covered the sky from one horizon to another. It was absolutely stunning! So far we have seen auroras nine of the eleven days in 2014. Lets hope the rest of the year continues to impress! Shot with a Nikon D800 and a Samyang 14mm lens.
