Details:
Was checking out the Lasco C3 camera for evidence of the solar flare, but my eye got caught on the thing on the top left corner. Does anyone know what it is? Whatever it is seems to be sporting some kind of a dust/gas trail. I know that Venus does this sometimes, but not sure right now. I see that Mercury and Venus are fairly close to the sun on Star Walk- is the bright object one of them?

Also the planets brightness oversaturates the sensor and causes the lines/trails to appear.

Well- yes, I knew that the sensor was definitely oversaturated, which is why it was dumping pixels into the area around the oversaturated area... or something along those lines. I just thought there seemed to be a gassy trail which was pointing down and to the right.

Or is the gas-like trail also pixels? It looks different than the horizontal lines
