All I can say is …Wow! In between the cloud patches this afternoon I finally got to see these amazing huge sunspots on the surface of the sun. As I’m away on holidays I had to use my camera setup for capturing wildlife…and it worked perfectly to capture these spectacular sunspots :-) Canon DSLR 40D on a tripod with Canon 100-400mm lens and 2x converter (with a glass solar filter attached) lens set at 400mm = 1280mm. Single image, exposure 1/1000th second, at F5.6 and ISO 500.
