This comparison image was created from images captured on January 4th after Sunset. Only when you put side-by-side the two celestial objects do you actually see the angular size difference, with Venus being around 30 times smaller in diameter. Equipment: TS APO 115 F/7 Refractor, TV Powermate 2.5x, ASI120MM with IR-pass filter. 2000 frames for Venus, 1000x8 frames for the lunar mosaic. Seeing 3-4/10.
