Details:
After the Sunset I waited for the bright planet to come into view. But it only did for a few moments, until some cirrus clouds rolled over. Nevertheless it was a beautiful view through my 4.5 inch refractor at 100x. The equipment used was a TS APO 4.5 inch F/7 refractor and Canon 550D for widefield view and the same refractor with an 2.5x Powermate and ASI120MM camera for detail. The seeing conditions were not great, but stacking 80 frames for the widefield and 2000 frames for the detail helped a lot. The planet is getting to close to the Sun and consequently the planet will disappear from the Sunset skies.
