Crescent Venus at noon
Taken by Steven Bellavia on January 4, 2014 @ This is the finest crescent Venus I have been able to photograph. In 7 days Venus will be at Inferior Conjunction. I took the photo at noon with a Celestron C5, on an alt-az, non-tracking tripod, a 2X Barlow and My Canon EOS T3 at ISO 400, 1/250th sec exposure.
