Details:
Stayed out all night last night, due to the cloudiness of tonight and the first clear night last night in weeks. Not a single meteor the whole night... of course, I did have some issues going with my equipment in the -10 degree weather and 22 inches of snow. This is a snapshot from the time lapse that you can find here: http://youtu.be/11qphg6axR8 A few planes here and there... not to mention the horrible light pollution. I turn 14 at 10CST... 6 hours to go! This will be my last post while I am 13. Enjoy!

Thanks! My camera and lens froze over twice in the process... I intended for the time lapse to last until sunrise, but a dead camera battery prevented that. I didnt see nor did I capture a since meteor either. But I guess thats okay!

Happy Birthday Josh :)
A good trick (from my husband a photographer ) is to keep extra batteries in a shirt/pants pocket where the heat from your body keeps them warm and to rotate them.
Good luck next time…
