Details:
The Sun had it all today: Exploding flares, giant tree shaped prominences, and stunning helix coil like hoops on the limb. A few hours of shooting the sun with our Lunt LS100 Hydrogen alpha scope followed by the Six inch refractor with a Calcium K filter setup gave me a great set to end the year with! Here Ive posted the best of the entire set, and you too will see today was an exceptional day for solar imaging.
