While photographing Sandhill Cranes at the Isenberg Preserve, My friend Ken noticed Venus didn't look round while he was taking pictures of Venus. I started taking pictures also. I captured about 39 photo's. Using a Canon T2i with a 55-250 lens. I have no ideal of what we captured? Please Comment I would love to learn more about this.

Because Venus is between the Earth and Sun it appears in phases like the Moon does when it is between us and the Sun. Right now it is almost directly in front of Earth and the Sun and passes us in orbit in early January. As it moves away the crescent will get larger.
