Details:
"Poorman's Analemma" Lacking the photographic equipment but just as enthusiastic to capture an analemma; I set up a sundial type gnomon (with a rod & golf ball) and marked the shadow (with bread ties & string). Chose 12/22/2011, 12:31p local time for a literal (and figurative) stake in the ground to start. Placed a mark every 15 days (except during Superstorm Sandy).
