Hi mate, nice photo, was just wondering were you took this photo from? Its just that Im always on the lookout for good spots to observe the sky, I live in Belfast so I need to go out to the country. Thanks.

Hi, shot from my back yard. A light pollution filter was used otherwise this would be an orange blob :)

Oh okay, do you live in an area with as much light pollution as Belfast? Were can I get a filter and would I be able to see this comet from Belfast? Thanks.

You might see the comet with binoculars but bear in mind it will only be a faint smudge at best. It needs a long photo exposure to bring out any real colour or detail. I need the filter because Im looking towards Belfast to see the comet. Filter is a 2 Skywatcher LPR and bought from ebay and designed to fit a 2 focuser nosepiece or diagonal.
