Details:
I had nearly perfect seeing conditions at 6300 feet, and after the Moon set at 5:03 AM. With a little bit of processing (DSS and Photoshop), here is a double stack of fifteen 30-second exposures of Comet Lovejoy this morning (12/15/2013), from 5:33 to 5:43 AM MST. The tail extends beyond the field of view. ISO3200, 450 seconds, SVQ100 f5.8 astrograph, with Nikon D600. Red suppressed.
