Details:
Other than any condensed remnant (see previous post), I tried also to search for the dust cloud remnant of comet ISON. According to the latest STEREO images, this cloud can be very faint and large. So I tried to image with a fast telephoto lens, a Pentax 165 mm f/2.8 with a full frame CCD (SBIG STL 11000). I was occluded partially by low altitude trees, so I've cropped the field at about 10x7°. I've calibrated with dark and skyflat made immediately after the images, so that I can have the cleanest background. I needed to fight with the strong gradient due to the incoming morning lights. I've processed to improve the background smoothness.
Unfortunately I cannot see any convinging dust cloud remnant. Only gradient residuals.
