Details:
Comet Lovejoy taken with a 200mm Canon telephoto lens at F/2.8, ISO 3200 on a Canon T3 (mod) and 21x15 sec exposures. I was shooting into a bright light dome of a large metropolitan area, so I had 2 LPS filters - an IDAS-LPS front filter and a 72mm Lumicon Deep Sky on the lens. Conditions deteriorated while I was shooting it and clouds cut my session short. The first photo is a star freeze version cropped a little and the second photo is the star-streaks version, full field with clouds and all.
