Details:
After weeks of cloudy morning skies, I was finally able to catch C/2013 R1 Lovejoy again. The coma and a faint, but very noticeable, tail were easily observed in 15x70 binoculars from a rural (approximately Bortle class 4) site with interfering light pollution dome to the east. Canon 550D, cheap thrift store telephoto lens at 147mm, ISO 3200, f/4.5, 60s, homemade hinge tracker. And it shows!
