Auroras for the first time in my life
Taken by Andrew Kwon on December 7, 2013 @
I am building an Observatory on my parent's property in northern Ontario on St. Joesph Island. While I have been going up quite often I have never seen the auroras before this trip. They were not that bright visually a bit of red and green skyglow where there is no light pollution. However the camera picked them up great. The first photo was taken through the shutter of my dome of the not yet finished observatory. The rest were taken outside where you can also see my telescope imaging the horsehead nebula.
