Details:
Sunday morning we had very clear sky conditions but very cold also. It was -2 Celsius but the comet was easily seen in the dark sky of Kriaritsi Chalkidiki between the constellations of Hercules and Corona Borealis. The alignment of the image was on the comet nucleus and this is why the star trails are colored like this. As a friend told me when he saw the image, it looks like the Christmas Comet decorated! The image is made with a 106mm refractor telescope at f/5 with a CCD camera using LRGB filters. It is a stack of 90 minutes total exposure time.
