Close but no Cigar….
Based in the west coast of Iceland in Grundarfjordur, we were all ready for a big display as the geomagnetic storm was kicking off and then at 8pm clouds rolled in to engulf the scene. I managed this technical image that certainly made up it….
This image was made from combining 9 images to focus stack the scene at f2.8, shot at 18mm on a Canon 1Dx, ISO3200
