Details:
Another snowstorm arrived by sunrise. The crystal clear air earlier in the evening was already more humid and murky with a persistent east wind and 10 degree wind chill by the time I took this untracked photo with a fast f/2 lens at 1600. I used Corona Borealis to guide me to the comet. I needed to move my tripod around the yard to a secondary location in order to use a juniper tree to block my early-rising neighbor's lights. A highlight of this session was a slow and Venus-bright early Geminid from the radiant high in the west to almost the eastern foothills.
