Details:
Very cold and clear, about 90 minutes before sunrise. Comet, meteor and faint aurora not visible to naked eye. I can often capture aurora in long exposures in my backyard, but rarely see them otherwise. Tracked stars with Vixen Polarie mount, (which is easy to set up in 12 degrees with gloves, btw).

Now that I have unthawed and am playing around with the mornings photos, I am pretty positive this is NOT a faint aurora, but was just too much tint from an astronomy preset I was fiddling with. It took a cup of coffee to realize I was getting the same tint in photos from other parts of the sky. Comet is still awesome ;-)
