Comet Lovejoy‬ on the morning of Dec. 3, 2013, as photographed through an 8-inch Mack Newt telescope from Chiefland, Florida. The comet is currently easy to spot with a pair of binoculars in the northeast a couple hours before sunrise, & barely naked-eye visible in dark skies.
Image is the product of a series of two-minute exposures over roughly 90 minutes + 4 hours of processing.
