Details:
After reading on Spaceweather.com about the conjunction of the crescent moon and Venus tonight, I decided to head out to Valley of Fire. Far away from the city lights of Las Vegas, this area offers a perfect opportunity to capture the night sky. It was pretty chilly, roughly 20 degrees Fahrenheit, but well worth it. If you look closely inside the arch, you can see the light tower from the Luxor casino in Las Vegas. http://goldpaintphotography.com
