Details:
Still setting up my gear when I saw the meteor, pressed shutter and crossed my fingers. Lovejoy is halfway between meteor and Chief Mtn. Image at 19:01h, -15F (-26C), thin fog layer from river in foreground (out of frame). Nikon D800, 35mm lens, 15 sec @ f1.4, 3200 ISO.

Awesome shot! Did you take this shot in the evening 1901? I thought you could only see lovejoy in the morning

Yes, this image was made at 7:01 pm local time. At present, Lovejoy sets in the NNW in the early evening and rises in the NNE in the early morning hours. Stellarium will give you exact numbers for your location.
