Details:
In the clear evening hours me and my husband went out observing Comet Lovejoy - hanging low above the NW horizon. As the light pollution of our hometown kills that view we had to take a bus to a nearby village, where the sky was wonderful. As soon as it darkened the comet became visible fist for my camera and a bit later to the naked eye too. Then some clouds emerged from the N and deavoured the comet's beautiful view. The Milky Way was streching across the sky with the Summer Triangle's bright stars twinklig above the little chapel near the village. We could also observe Venus setting behind the hills and Jupiter rising in the East. Although a cold wind blew it was a fantastic evening!
