Details:
The Great Orion Nebula, NGC 1973, 1975 & 1977, the clear and chilly morning of December 1st. Finally got the Orion shot we were looking for! 24 minutes total exposure; 48 - 30 second subs at various isos 3200-100, Canon 550D, 8" f4 Newtonian on a Celestron CGEM mount. Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, processed in Adobe Photoshop.

Well done; nice work on your part.

This most likely is the closest photographic image that I have ever seen to showing what the nebula appears like in a large reflector telescope under dark skies.
