Details:
Took some images of the Sun on Thanksgiving Day. At 12:48pm local time, I offset from the Sun to the position of comet ISON, which was at perihelion, and removed the solar filter. Unfortunately the comet was not visible in the field of view of the camera. I don't feel bad though, because the NASA Solar Dynamics Observatory never saw it either!
