Comet ISON, Nov. 20, 2013, 5:35 AM, stack of four 20-second exposures, Nikon D600, 600 mm lens at f/8, ISO 1600. No cropping or vignetting corrections. It is easy to see in my Minolta 10x50 binoculars, and I can fool myself into thinking it is also visible to my naked eye. Center (RA, hms): 13h 53m 28.968s Center (Dec, dms): -14° 18' 22.475" Size: 3.44 x 2.29 deg Radius: 2.066 deg Pixel scale: 2.05 arcsec/pixel Orientation: Up is 85.3 degrees E of N

Comet1984...so which tool did you use? Gaussian smoothing, or an FFT, or ImageJ? That wasnt the full resolution photo, but your noise reduction looks great.
