Details:
Two images of ISON this morning, one at 220mm F/5 for 3 sec's showing ISON with a straight gas tail pointing towards Spica, in fact from the high res image I am sure the tail extends beyond this star and it quite long!. Suspected I glimpsed coma and tail with averted vision but cannot be sure due to dodging clouds. My rough estimate is mag +4.0. Other image is 50mm F/2.8 showing ISON and Spica together. Comet Lovejoy was easy naked eye even under full moonlight. Canon 450D ISO1600
