Comet Lovejoy was barely naked eye under full moon, breaking twilight and gusty winds. 3x60s, iso 800, 180mm @ f/4. Lovejoy was moving quite fast so limited stacking. Not the easiest image to process! Lots of noise. Is it better to take shorter exposures at higher iso or longer exposures at lower iso???

Wow great job.. howd you get it so clear? My images are horrible... I cant seem to even do anything. Mines the newest ISON image but thats with an LX 200, Canon Rebel T2i. I found taking shorter exposures at higher ISO was better for me.

Great photo! I have been frustrated by early morning marine layer clouds, moonlight,and for ISON, the comets now low altidude which put it out of range (behind houses and trees) from my backyard observatory. Lovejoy has been my primary target as it is much higher in the sky.
