Details:
Active Region 1899 is so big it can be seen without any magnification. Obviously a suitable solar filter, such a an eclipse viewer, should be used. This image was taken with a Canon EOS 60D and Sigma EX 150-500 mm lens with a 1.4x teleconverter. Exposure was 1/800th Second @ f/9, ISO-400.
